Summary: Snakes are pretty okay in our book. Venomous ones are respectable but dangerous. Venomous gassed ones are a big no-no.

History: Around the time of the Cold War, a special nerve gas known as CT-3 was developed to send potential commies into a blood rage and kill each other. But despite the project being canned, colonel Stroud refused to let his commie-murder scheme die, and kept the gas to himself. However, he ended up pouring it into a Californian mine to cover his tracks when it started going downhill. But the gas ended up driving many MANY rattlesnakes mad, and although they didn't kill each other, they sure killed everyone else.

Notable Kills: They kill a woman while she's in a tub.

Final Fate: After the colonel is shot for his crimes, the rattlesnakes apparently perish when the mine is blown up.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-It's one thing to have one highly venomous serpent around, but now there's hundreds of them slithering around the place. And they all have a burning hatred of their environment. Have fun.

Trivia: -This film was shot on location in the Mohave Desert, California.

-The largest gathering of snakes occurs in Manitoba, Canada. There, at least 75,000 red-sided garter snakes come together to live and breed.
